Craig Barton (00:00):
When you buy from easy man buys houses, you may think that, well, I could probably get more from my house on the open market, and that may be the case, but a lot of times you don’t take things into consideration. Like what is it going to cost me to sell this house? So when you go on the open market, of course you have to pay for commissions closing costs. Maybe you might have to fix the house up. You’re going to have payments on your house while you’re trying to sell the house in many cases, unless of course it’s free and clear. You’re going to have to pay for all kinds of odds and ends that nobody ever thinks about your utility bills, your taxes, your HOA fees. If you have them and it all adds up to be a lot of money. In most cases, it’s going to cost you 25 to $40,000 to sell a home.
Craig Barton (00:53):
When you speak to somebody. And they say, I sold my home for 250,000, many times when it’s all said and done, they don’t even realize that they’ve literally only cleared 195 to say 210,000 on the house. When it was all said and done six months later, and they paid everything. And a lot of times, if you have to put $10,000, which is very love amount into a home, just to get it rental ready or fixed up ready or selling ready, which is basically paint and carpet and repairs, then that factors into your bottom line too. But many houses, especially if they’re built in the seventies or eighties need 30, 40, 50,000 and more to get top dollar for their houses. So when you’re working with somebody with easy man buys houses, we actually break this down for you and we share it with you. And sometimes we can come in very close to what you’re actually going to make on the open market.
Craig Barton (01:47):
And sometimes we might be 10 to 15, $20,000 less, but we can close in two weeks. So you never know exactly what your bottom line is. Unless you sit down with a pen and paper and figure it out. So when you talk to us, we will do exactly that. We will sit down with you, go through your costs, figure out what your situation is and how you need to get out of the house. And how quickly do you get out of the house. And so once it’s all said and done, if we can’t make sense out of it, then obviously there’s no obligation whatsoever. So check with easy man buys houses. The next time you’re selling your house, especially if you’re in a situation where you need speed, you need to get out quickly, or you need a lot of repairs on the house. Most of the houses we buy, they have a repair issue and they have a time issue.
Craig Barton (02:38):
If you have all the time in the world to sell and you can diddle around and spend some money and fix up the house and wait awhile, uh, then typically you’re going to get more money for your house. If you need to get out of the house really quick. And again, as I said, you have a repair issue. We get a lot of times and many, many times we can make sense of it, but we have to create win-win situations for you, or it’s not going to work. Our business is about win-win and guess what? We can’t create win-win situations for everyone. So the next time you’re going to sell your home and you think I want to get out of here work. And plus, I got to repair this thing, be sure to give us a call, easy man buys houses. We’ll see you then.
